DAILY tablet to help prevent heartworm infection.
May be harmful to dogs infected with circulating microfilariae.
Do not use in dogs with circulating microfilaria until cleared by a veterinary surgeon.
Dogs older than 6 months should be tested before commencing diethylcarbamazine.
Dosage: Heartworm prophylaxis: 5.5mg/Kg bodyweight.
Dimmitrol Heartworm Tablets come in 3 sizes.
- 50mg for dogs up to 9 kg in weight
- 200mg for dogs 9 - 36 kg in weight
- 400mg for dogs 36 - 72 kg in weight
This medication should be given with food.
